That's good news that they've both made it to Europe.
Mine was in Antwerp for 3 weeks then Flushing for 4 weeks.
Should be quicker now that the '74 plate rush is out of the way and stock orders for ICE's have been stopped.

Normal total time is 4 weeks, if you nag live chat enough that your car is late they might bump you to priority delivery. Turns out my car went straight off the boat in Dagenham onto a transporter waiting for it.

It's worth nothing that Dark horses (and probably other mustangs) can only go on a couple of positions on transporters (i'll find the sticker and attach it funny that the sticker was on drivers side) so you may have to wait for one.

Mine is estimated for 3-4 weeks from now

Really bizarre how Ford have removed the wireless charging from the 2025 Mustang, an option that probably costs less than a tenner in parts. And still no front parking sensors. And I'm very pleased I switched to a DH in Vapor Blue, following my original order for a DH in Dark Magnetic Grey, which I understand has never been built for the UK market. Got to love Ford!

Magnetic has never been an option for the S650, Carbonised Grey was the nearest match.

Wireless charging is being dropped across all Ford's - it is pretty useless.

Front parking sensors - never has and never will - If it didn't get introduced for the S650 from the start it was never going to appear later.

All-New Mustang Customer Pricelist (UK) - Effective 22nd October 2024.xlsx

It says 2024 in the title but Molten Magenta gives it away as the UK 2025 price list

UK gets the 'Bronze Pack' which on the Molten Magenta looks good, even though it is a US spec car used on the price list!
A-ha! My dealer rang me yesterday to excitedly report that the order banks are open again, so this tallies. Will be popping over Monday for a test drive and most likely to place an order.

"Intense Lime Yellow" seems to be a bit of a scoop. Nobody has mentioned that colour in any other markets before, right?

It's a pearlescent yellow apparently although it doesn't seem to have appeared anywhere yet. No 2025 cars have been made yet.

There are very few other changes so I would go for a 2024.5, still a few unsold ones coming through. 2025 cars will not be in the UK until next summer I would think.

I visited my Ford dealer today for a test drive and he confirmed that - perhaps unsurprisingly - the MY25 UK allocations will be based on a selection of predetermined specifications, just as with MY24.

From my test drive of a manual GT coupe, I found that:
  1. the digital dash wasn't especially clear (though I only tried one of the layouts)
  2. the steering has a decent heft to it in Sport mode
  3. the brakes are really progressive and easy to operate
  4. the clutch is a tad tricksy and it's quite easy to bog it down when pulling away
  5. the gear change is very direct and solidly mechanical feeling (not dissimilar to my ND2 MX5. which is very high praise)
  6. the ride with the magneride dampers is really excellent - very controlled and compliant
  7. the engine isn't especially torquey low down (my old n/a 5.0 Jag XK felt a lot more gutsy at ~2k rpm)...
  8. ...but it sounds absolutely amazing!
The clutch I know I will get used to and the car only had 200 miles on it, so was likely very tight. All in all, I liked it a lot.

Did the cat have auto hold turned on ? I’ve found that cat be a little slow to release when pulling away causing it to bog sometimes deffo not all of the time.

The car will auto rev for you pulling away normally, however if you give it some throttle it assumes you have the con and will let the revs drop. I haven’t stalled it yet but I’ve gotten mighty close a couple of times (300rpm) before catching it with the clutch and giving it way more beans.

The tremec shift is next level compared to the getrag …

I’m up to 400 miles now, the ride is good and the brakes are certainly responsive.

Engine does seem to pull a lot stronger above 4k I haven’t taken it much beyond that yet.

Headlights are a bit of a disappointment, low beam is ‘meh’ at best (forward throw is short) auto main beams is circa 2000’s bmw. The lack of any intelligent beam forming is a big step back for me, there was a deer on the verge earlier and I didn’t see it until it would I’d been too late to react. Thankfully it stood still.
It has the camera and the radar and the beams can tilt so I know why they haven’t done at least a basic version

I don't think the pre-designated builds is really a big problem, you can get most variations. And other than some colours that were changed or phased out there is no difference to the MY24 cars. You should be able to get what you want from the MY24/25 cars available.

Odd that as the headlights on the S550 (post facelift) are really good. yes just auto high beam rather than full dynamic but the lighting is good.

Ford don't have a matrix system just a motorised zone type system on cars equipped with dynamic headlights. They do take up more physical space so maybe that is the reason they didn't fit them?

I don't have my car yet so cannot say for sure, but make sure the lights are setup correctly for traffic (assuming that setting is present on the S650) as that can make them cut off too close to the car. Plus LED headlights have a more obvious cut off compared to Xenon or Halogen from the 2000's. In reality they are brighter, so it looks more obvious rather than being genuinely shorter.

The SLC only has motorised dual beams, but they work really well at being able to keep most of main beams on all of the time. Particularly at the nearside verge / pavement.
It uses the camera and the radar to know where other vehicles are and block them out.

The 'stangs lights do a motion check on startup so they can do some movement they just don't seem to be using it. I'll see if there is anything in the manual about it.

I guess I was expecting more from tri beams.

They are bright enough and probably on the legal limit.

The movement is the self levelling system / cornering function

Just read the news on the budget today, fingers crossed you all get your cars before april next year (good thing its not immediate) with the VED doubling!
I thought £2745 was bad but from next year it'll be £5490!
Note Ford do not cover this in the price lock either. Although my dealer did due to the delays etc.
