Does anyone have what the max RPM is in each gear for an A10 before the car cuts fuel to the engine? I've researched online and see where there have been some statements that the 7500rpm redline is where it cuts in every gear except 6th, which has it cut fuel at 6800. However, I'm pretty sure I have had my car cut fuel well below 7500rpm in 4th and 5th gear as well. I try to shift by 6500rpm to avoid it cutting fuel, so it is only on the rare occasion I let it go higher where I've experienced it recently, but it would be nice to know exactly what the max is with each gear.

it's difficult to really tell, because i've tried to figure that out as well, and it seems to vary. i figured out a while ago that in like 6th it's much lower, but i had a thing this past Sunday when going home from Goodyear that it hit a cutoff before 7500 and not in 6th. it's probably some sort of dynamic limiter because i imagine it's a little finicky getting a cross-plane V8 with a 92.7mm stroke to rev to 7500 safely within Ford's "must last the powertrain warranty" specs

That aligns with what I have experienced and makes sense. I have not monitored the cutoff points that closely because I only hit it rarely and on accident, so I'm not staring at the rpm or gear to make a mental note. This is why I try to shift at 6500 so I can avoid the fuel cutoff. As long as I am still under the powertrain warranty I don't want to tune it. Once my warranty is up, then I'll look at getting it adjusted.

This is the best answer you will get. Also for reference, Mud=track and sport/track is actually just sport for the s550/650. Drag/sand = drag. This is the WOT shift schedule from a 2026 10R80 car with 3.55 gears.
