Looking to do a resonator delete on my 2024 mustang gt with active exhaust. Curious if any has used the switchfire X pipe looks like there are good gains with it. Or what have others used.

This is great thanks...A resonator delete is not going to add power. It may be heavy, but it is pretty much a straight through device. The velocity of exhaust gas may be accelerated with an X-pipe, that is not always an power producing by-product.
People replace the resonator for better sound and less weight, but not power gains.
Great thanks for the feedback....I put the Ford Performance X pipe on my S550 and it made a minor difference in sound, so I have decided not to do it on my Dark Horse. Sound is subjective , you may like the sound difference, so it maybe a good choice for you.
That sounds aggressive nice... I really like it.I have the x pipe, local shop made it. The sound is much better
I never even thought of that...Instead of res delete I’m going straight to headers and actually pick up 30 some HP with the aggressive sound
Just food for thought
I thought of this too, but those check engine lights were going to annoy me. So I'm waiting, but TONS of people have already done it. They have a check engine light too, but I forget the bypass they are using to turn it off.Instead of res delete I’m going straight to headers and actually pick up 30 some HP with the aggressive sound
Just food for thought
Sounds GREAT.I have the x pipe, local shop made it. The sound is much better
How about throttle/acceleration response.?I did the Steeda H-Pipe. Sounds awesome in my opinion. More aggressive, but not stupid loud.
As others few noted, I'm sure there's no HP gain.
No - no change. Just better sound subjectively. How about throttle/acceleration response.?
