Hi everyone
Im 1/2 way done replacing the subw. And I see many people say the rear deck speakers suck lol. They prob do since I dont feel the sound is full spectrum (I dont know another word for it, but seems theres missing frequencies ) bass or not. And maybe that's why.
Can you just pop them out and replace with better, without a new amp, without anything else special? Yet achieve a much better sound? Im looking for a jump better , not needing super loud or perfection. If so, what speakers? Ill find someone to install since Im thinking would be at least some more complicated than the subw replacement.

'Better' speakers is a whole can of worms. They will be different speakers but they could completely ruin the balance of the sound if you get it wrong.

The rear deck speakers are not meant to do much, they are fill in speakers as the sound is supposed to front biased.

The B&O places a --heavy-- emphasis on the front stage. You likely wouldn’t notice much difference only swapping those speakers. They’re probably cheap, $11.00 speakers like the rest but the stock mixing(?) sends most of the signal to the front stage area - pillars and front doors.

Sounds like if they were replaced they'd need an amp(?)
I wish the mustang sounded as good as my previous factory tlx speakers. I thought it was close in my test drive. I was really wrong!

You need a good signal processor to bring the rear speakers into more prominence. I understand wanting a good front stage but I think the B&O carries it a bit too far for my taste.
