I had my car checked for the recall, thankfully no issues with the hydraulic line. The dealership kept my car for 24 hours and when I got it back, there were numerous paint chips, dents, and gouges on my hood, splitter, and front bumper. The best part was that the service manager and general manager tried telling me that they looked like “old rock chips” and “it must’ve been something that I had done”….unbelievable how different a good dealership vs a bad dealership can be.

This why one needs to take photos/videos right before turning the car over to the dealer.

Agreed. Thankfully, I had 1 picture from right before dropping it off. They regretfully agreed to pay the repair costs.

I just got my car and they have a different support setup all together. Theres a clip attached to the firewall with a bolt and tie wrap connected to the hose.

something i should mention is that if anyone here finds their hose unclipped, either do not clip it back on before going to the dealer, or if you do, let the dealer know that you clipped it back on. Ford is saying that vehicles with the hose unclipped need it replaced, and by clipping it back on yourself and not saying anything, you could eventually have something happen due to unseen or ignored damage to the line. this is not something said by Ford, but by me. it's better to get the line replaced than risk hidden/ignored damage
