Rear license plate

Just got the permanent plate. The dealer screwed in my temp with some self tapping screw/bolts. I assume they used the right screws. Putting on the plate these screws seem to be threading into a soft plastic. I don’t want to over torque them, but they don’t seem to fully screw in, and the plate is flopping around. Any ideas????

If the screws are loose, get new (larger) screws. Yes, they thread into soft plastic. No, don't over-torque them.

I had same issues, bought a silicone frame off Amazon, that took care of the loose issue.

Once the screw hole begins to be stripped, I add these...license plate nuts.
