Question for anyone who has ordered a 2025 Dark Horse...

I am curious if anyone who has placed an order for a 2025 model has received a conformation email, or more importantly, does your order show on your Ford.com account. I put down a deposit and ordered a 2025 Dark Horse on Aug. 1st and from what I have been able to determine is that my dealer placed the order on Aug 5th. However, I never received the confirmation email and there is still nothing showing on my account under reservations/orders. I have spoken with both my dealer and called Ford directly and both assure me the order is there. I have also verified my email with both. Am I alone here or is this normal until production actually starts in a couple months? Thanks!

Scheduling for 25 MY starts later this month... I would think the "process" would start after that.

I have an order in for a 2025 DH with HP. I am seeing the same thing as the OP. No confirmation e-mail. Dealer had confirmed order is placed and I have a copy of the DORA showing my order and my name.
Dealer has told me that things should get moving after production starts November 1st. Cars with HP may also be delayed because Ford does not produce Mustangs with HP summer tires from November-February, due to low temperatures at the plant at that time (Mach1 had same issue). I'm not expecting my car until March/April 2025 at the earliest.

I appreciate the responses and it's nice to know I am not the only one. I also got the Handling Package and am aware it may be March until those cars go into production. I just wanted to see something "official" that my dealer got my order entered correctly. I have purchased many new Ford vehicles, but this is the first one I have ever special ordered and just want to be sure it is ordered the way I want.

My dealer did send me a copy of the "Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement", or DORA. It shows the order receipt date, the pricing, and each option in the order. For example mine shows the color, manual transmission, 700A package, 67P handling package, etc. Everything I gave them when I made the order. The scheduled date is blank, which I guess makes sense, since they haven't scheduled any builds yet. At the bottom it lists "CUST*" with my name.

This is the best confirmation that I have been able to get from them that the order is "in the system".

It not just the DH either. I placed my order for the 60th anniversary package on July 20 and have not received anything either. But was told by several people that it there and just waiting for the production to start.

I ordered mine today but there is a constraint on the handling package so it could not be added. A month ago my sister ordered a 25 Explorer ST i checked she got the order confirmation 2 days later but with Dark horse each dealer has to be allotted a dark horse and not all orders are accepted as people who ordered a 24 know well

I wonder if the "constraint" was the issue that they don't produce cars with the summer HP tires from November-March? I placed my order with HP July 30, and it was "accepted". Since they don't start production until November, I think all HP orders are delayed until March/April.

I read it was that, manual transmissions as well as recaro seats. Also heard if you did not get a vin and build date you habe to call the dealership and ask them to reorder for 2025 as it doesn't automatically change from 2024 to a 2025. With talking to a few dealers trying to place my order it turns out that ford doesnt make 24 orders 25 automatically and if your local ford dealer is a good one they will contact you and resubmit your order for a 25 but should ask you since the 25 price went up but some dealers wont even tell you!
