I had seen this hood vent on eBay and I really liked the way it looked.
I went snooping around and basically found that it appears to be a Chinese made knock off of an Anderson Composites hood vent.
I love the look of it but the pricing on the AC product caused me to choke. Really was an unnecessary purchase but it just kept nagging at me. I bought it to shut myself up
and was worried that the product wouldn’t fit or be ok or whatever.
Bottom line : you can definitely get lucky once in a while. It makes me rethink my purchase of the RTR chin splitter as that was a lot of money and there are so many splitters at significantly lower pricing. I believe the RTR splitter is a good product and the fact it’s one piece is a major plus. Truth be told though - in some cases it looks like price doesn’t always correlate with something being satisfactory or not.
