2008 Mustang (GT?—maybe one of our sharp eyed Mustang gurus can properly identify the model) fleeing Conway Arkansas PD on a freeway. At one point the driver of the Mustang is observed by pursuing officers throwing a small package (drugs??) out the window.

Arkansas State Trooper William Cash hits 139-140 MPH in pursuit; catching up with several Conway PD pursuit vehicles; only to have two of them swerve in front of him as he overtakes them. Trooper Cash neatly maneuvers around both to overtake the suspect Mustang; then PITS it into the median at approximately 103 MPH!

Hah! You're not wrong, though that's why they PIT them in advance. The officer in this video from 2021 (at time 9:35) gave that reasoning: "when she finally decided to run, I knew she was either gonna get off up there at 47 running crazy and hurt somebody, so went ahead and done it and got it over with".
