I have an EcoBoost with the Performance Package option and 19" Brembo brakes. Really enjoy the braking power. I only have about 1500 miles on the car with not really any spirited driving yet but I'm really disappointed with the amount of brake dust on the wheels. Has anyone swapped out their pads for "dustless" pads? Hoping to find some ceramic pads to cure the problem.

And a good wheel brush to use when washing. It's a game changer

I'm just holding our for ceramic pads. There will be zero dust, but the braking force will be reduced some in the process.

Mr roadpilot:
Question for you and I'm not trying to be any kind of out of line. My question is " Why do so many people think a Ceramic Coat is so great? Again I'm just trying to understand.

I did ceramic coating on the wheels (forgot the brakes, doh!)... most of the dust rinses right off... the tires though are another story (brown).

Steeda has g-loc ceramic pads for these brakes.

@Sofa King _Some of that brown on the tires is what is called tire blooming. Not easy to get off. It comes from rubber compounds.

Protects what's under it, easy to clean, like a permanent coat of wax.

Thanks Road Pilot. The brake dust is very annoying. Drive to the DQ and come home got brown film on my Black Rims. When you find a good replacement set of pads let us know. Much appreciated

Just looked at the Steeda G-Loc pads. $305 for the front pads. Their description says the brake dust is non-corrosive. It doesn't say less brake dust.

Thanks guys for your responses but I've been an amateur detailer for many years. I know how to wash/clean my wheels. I just don't want to have to clean them every day. My question was if anyone knew of dustless (ceramic?) brake pads. I guess I got spoiled with my previous BMW 3 series and it's ceramic pads.
