When using the Paddle Shifters should you, come off the accelerator as you would with a traditional manual, or just keep the accelerator in place as you toggle the paddle. JFYI: I'm 79 and grew up driving "Stick", so it's not as if this is all a mystery to me. Thank You. VAT

I don’t come off the throttle. I figure it is an AT, which would shift itself in auto mode while on the throttle; using the paddle shifters doesn’t change how it shifts, just when it shifts.

I don’t come off the throttle. I figure it is an AT, which would shift itself in auto mode while on the throttle; using the paddle shifters doesn’t change how it shifts, just when it shifts.
