Noticed I'm getting a lot of pad material built up on my rotors at 5600ish miles. Should I be concerned? My car is a base model GT. Drive like I have all my cars and never had much issue with brakes before except just wear/tear. In my other performance oriented cars I've mainly had metallic pads but also some ceramic, think the base GT has organic pads. Lately had a lot of animals running out in the road and the number of people pulling out in front of me has increased. Spring and summer months. Lots of braking. No issues with the brakes in use, just seems like they are working pretty hard. Making me wonder if I shouldn't have gotten the performance package. Any suggestions for a better pad for the base brakes?

Try bedding, if still overheating the stock pad and getting uneven deposits you can clean with a brake hone on a drill then put higher temp range pads on like ferodo 2500
