Ordered my Whipple!

Excited but looks like it will be 8-12 weeks before it gets delivered. Going through the dealer for warranty.

Anyone know why it’s so long to get?

I'd bet it is a case of supply vs. demand. If the rumors are true, and Ford offers a V8 F150 with a factory Whipple, that certainly would cripple the supply.

i think Ford doesnt keep them in stock as they're a niche item, even for the performance crowd so they have to allocate one through Whipple which has other companies they supply so youre at the back of the line. i bought mine from Lethal and had it within a month of order.

the FP700 is a dealer add on, the only vehicle ford includes a supercharger from factory with is the Raptor R AFAIK

I ordered mine thought Lethal Performance on 12/1/2025 and got a ship date 3/15/2026. I did order a custom color. I checked back with Lethal and then Whipple direct and got the same story that orders are backed up at this time.
A lot of people just want to go fast!!!!

try steeda. i got mine with in 2 weeks or less. it was in stock. that was april of 2025. got installed in may of 2025 with factory warranty.

I ordered mine 11/23 when the 15% sale was going on and I was told 8-12 weeks then and I’m sure they sold a bunch during that week.

Very nice and congratulations. One suggestion is to check and see if there are no issues with PCM. Recall 25SA7 (impacts my car and approximately a 1000 others) covers issues with accelerator sticking under WOT. Just suggesting confirming this does not impact FP Whipple's.

Back when I got one for my 23GT, they were making them to order, Thats why it was 6-12 weeks. Still appears to be that way.

there is a recall for the wot but whipple sent me the updated file and i installed it. i asked if this covered the recall and whipple said yes. and now i get a letter from ford about my whipple having a recall. i guess they did not know that whipple has a fix. although ford in the recall letter said that there is no fix yet.

Glad to hear this and I think I will try this route. I can't imagine Ford selling FP Whipple units without having the fix in place. Just plain lazy BS on their part allowing this to continue.

Did you order a Ford Performance/Whipple Stage 1? If yes, the 8-12 week lead time doesn't add up unless the delay is due to the FP software issue. I say that because Ford Performance shows the FP/Whipple SC in stock (1 week or so to any Ford Dealer). LMR has them in stock as well. I have no idea what the Whipple Stage 1 stock status is.
