I find that had to really shove and force the dipstick back in? Is this normal?

And how do you guy pull out the dipstick with thebhot strut brace blocking it? Go infront of the brace or behind?

I use 2 hands.

One hand on the dip stick grip and the other one all the way at the beginning of the dipstick preventing it from hitting or swinging it against the engine bay while pulling it out.

And yes, the way you described pushing the dipstick back in is normal on this setup.

@hoodscoops ..... I remove the dipstick from behind the strut brace. After scratching the brace I now drape an old cotton sock over it to prevent damage. It's still a knuckle buster.

Just pull the dip out and insert it back in in the same direction and don’t twist it.
if you twist it,
Dipstick would be very difficult to get back in. It has to be flat like you pulled it out.
I also purchase a Ford performance strut tower brace & Cowl Brace.
It really helps the Steering & tightens the front end on my 2024 GT.
I just take it slow when removing the Dip Stick

I purchased an after-market shock tower cross brace for my 2024 EB. I didn't install it not for the dipstick issue, but the fact you can't remove all of the spark plugs (again EB) without removing the brace! I haven't seen an EB with a factory brace, so I don't know if this is a universal issue or not. Different yet the same?

Are EcoBoost owners replacing sparks plugs so often that this is actually a concern?

Why not just temporarily loosen or remove the brace when it comes time to replace the plugs? 🤔

I personally haven't needed to change any spark plugs in either of my EB vehicles. Step back a few years to my Honda hotrod, and yes! In 15k miles, three sets were needed. Once I switched on one step cooler, the issue went away.
