First oil change or every oil change? First at 2,000 sounds about right... every oil change at 2,000 sounds like a bit much... but if there is a warranty involved, I would do the every 2,000 as the mfg. recommends. My 810hp Shelby recommends oil change at 2,000 miles. Is this assuming it’s driven hard ? I’ve only been past 6,000rpm a couple times. Mostly city and interstate.
I don't think the OLM is that advanced. It can account for oil, water temps, RPM and the like. Indirectly it adjusts. But for even an EcoBoost, I don't think it directly measures a parameter related to boost.Does the OLM take into consideration a supercharger?
The OP's car is listed as a 2025. I assume it's rolled over one year since first light.2000 miles sounds a bit too often for a car using modern oils and just normal driving.
Good point, I missed that.I don't think the OLM is that advanced. It can account for oil, water temps, RPM and the like. Indirectly it adjusts. But for even an EcoBoost, I don't think it directly measures a parameter related to boost.
I'm not aware the Whipple calibrations change OLM parameters.
