Is it documented somewhere what the official wheel clearances are (front and rear) for each trim (EcoBoost, GT and primarily Dark Horse) on a stock suspension? I would like to know what the range of diameters, widths, offsets/backspacing are that can be supported. In addition, is there a graphical tool where you can enter a few values, and it will calculate what the remaining value(s) would need to be in order for the wheel to fit without any clearance issues?

You can imagine on the S650 alone, the information in a database would be huge. The information is often left to the owners and sites like this. Someone asks a question, a responder takes some photos or makes a measurement.

Limits? IDK. There are a handful of examples already of those who have exceeded limits and are working through those issues. But there are a lot of variables with tire, rim and suspension. There's a general understanding of what can fit well. I haven't noticed it yet, but still others will create a fitment thread of how far one can go, without exceeding anything.

In the mean time, some of the sponsors have already replied to several of what they've accomplished, with various fitments.

Attached are some links I refer to for insight into several of the issues your interested in; they'll at least show differences when changing one or more parameters, but maybe not limit to suspension or body.

Part of the problem overall is the S650 is still new. The information on the S650 is sometimes there, but it can be sparse.

Agreed, and the solutions that have been tried/posted seem to be very much trial and error, even from the sponsors. When you are possibly looking at doing something custom or semi-custom, trial and error comes with a lot of risks, risks that I am trying to minimize or avoid.

The third link you provided is the closest that I have seen to addressing fitment clearances, so thank you for providing that. Looking at the some of the parameters do we know what these are for a stock S650 suspension?...

If we can figure this out or get very close to it I think we'll have what I am looking for.

I haven't seen anything that gets into such detail. Several companies are offering recommendations for their products, but they do not list related measurements.

Many have their car at home now. This thread is being seen. Maybe someone in a like situation could take a few readings and post.

In the mean time, the following thread is also active. I haven't read through it all, but it has several wheels on recommendation, to give an idea what will fit (or not).
