Hello everyone, this is my first post on here as well as my first time owning a Mustang. I have the Performance Pack 2024 GT. I am planning on getting some aftermarket tires, but I need help getting the correct size. Right now, I’m looking at running some 305 30 19 in the front and 315 30 19 in the rear. I know this is what the dark horse hp runs, but I’m concerned it might not fit. Does anyone know if I can run wheels this size with the Dark Horse ETs and have no issues on a stock setup? Thanks!

What size wheel/tires does the GT PP come in? I think it will fit. Issue is the wheel gap

I have the same size on my Dark Horse. I would also love to upgrade to 305F and 315R. Would they fit on my Dark Horse and on the same Wheels?
Thanks in Advance.

Gt performance comes with 255 40 r19 on 9"
Back is 275 40 r19 9.5"
It probably will fit. Issue is running smaller wheel setup will have a wheel gap. The front DH comes with a plastic fender strip. The rear will be ugly.

295/35 19 might work

I had to be repetitive (see previous posts when I changed my DH 19’s to 29’s and changed Pirelli Trofeo RS’s to Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons). Tire manufacturer also a factor. Michelins have straighter side walls & therefore wider tread width than Trofeos. If you’re not careful, you may have tires sticking outside your fenders. Go to track.com, look up tires you have & tires you want & look at the specs for section width, tread width, diameter, and recomm. Compare. I drew the specs out on paper and was able to overlay different tires on different rims/offsets. Some of the tires I checked were significantly wider than my stock ones while being “smaller”. I ended up with 285/35/20 on front with more tread width than my stock 305/19. Also put 305/30/20 on rear with more tread width than than my stock 315/19.
Manufacturer, tire size, aspect ratio, wheel offset, and tire diameter are all factors.
Of course, other people have already done it & you can just get the combination from them.
Last thing, tirerack.com gives spec for a specific wheel width (listed in the chart) and a range of rim widths that the tire can fit on. If you go wider or narrower, the section width changes. I think it was 0.2” section width/0.5” rim width.

“Hate to be repetitive”
“DH 19’s to 20’s” - not 29’s
