Wouldn't say its easier, definitely more simplistic that other parts are already installed, but the toe links/vertical links aren't a very robust install - give me a shout at [email protected] & i can connect you with our install department if you are looking for guidance.

I would be lying if I told you exactly right this second. But I will tell you one thing, 30 mins isnt going to cut it and cooling costs what it costs lol

Whatever it takes.

Also I was putting down slightly under 1200 to the ground and driving it to work lol but its easier to keep your foot out of something than it is to cool and keep everything properly lubricated, aligned, and just not busted while beating on a car for hours on end at a road course. God bless those mechanics man. Also rip to the tire gods.

Here's a Pic of the old Mustang tuned up. Sleeper build. Twin turbos on E85 with all of the supporting mods.

That is a fun read for sure! I briefly thought about modding my existing car before I sold it. It had a lot of the cooling already done but the suspension was sooooo much setup for drag racing and then to your questions in that thread... there is a reason you do not hear about a lot of TT Mustangs on the road courses lol.

The power is simply not needed. Hell a modern F1 car has around this much HP.... no way am I going to go through the hassle of tracking a Mustang with that power level. Just means your foot is out of it 95% of the time. I know mine with 1200 hp would never see a wide open throttle unless it was on a prepped drag strip and even then it would break traction a lot.

Fascinating read and build though. That mod was funny.

The minimum weight including driver for 2025 was raised to 800kg. That's only 1,760 pounds. 840 horsepower plus 160 horsepower from hybrid boost = 1000 horsepower.

So 1.76

For a 3950 lb Mustang to have a similar power to weight ratio would require 2,244 horsepower.

Its not about the weight of the car and the power ratio only. I am sure you know all of this but what I was more getting at is that only so much power can be used on a track and past a certain point its worthless. Even F1 is not putting down 1k HP in turns and even accelerating off of the line lol. It would just spin... just physics. 1k+ hp is so much HP its insane. Having come freshly out of a 1200HP Mustang and from my seat time in actual track cars that HP would be wasted.

Very rarely are we on track wishing we had more power. Grip baby grip!

I do not know the stat off of the top of my head but they show on every track how much time they spend at wide open throttle AKA using all of the power. Its not that high unless they are on some super high speed courses with long sweeping corners you can stay flat out in.

Hopefully the new regs allow them to be more racey next year. This qualifying = 1 = 1 in race is kinda boring. I know that did not always happen this year but if you have been watching recently you know what I am talking about.

Front car just gets in clean air and you need such a large delta to even be able to attempt a pass on some tracks its insane. Even with faster lap times they are able to catch up to the driver in front and as soon as they hit about that 1 second gap or 1.5 ish that dirty air is causing the person chasing to chew through tires. Giving them only 1 or 2 real chances to "try" to pass them.

Honestly unless you can just get a clean DRS pass on a long straight it was tough to pass all season.

I don't know how they ever pass at Monaco, for instance. The entire track looks narrow, tight.

It is that narrow for sure lol. I have been once and we had super nice terrace seats... I am glad we went once but we will never to go Monaco again.

The race we went to was the first time ever the top 10 started in and finished in the same order.... outside of the Perez crash at the start it was fairly boring as a "race". The atmosphere is incredible though as you can imagine.

If I were insanely wealthy I could see how Monaco would be a fun thing to do every year. But that is a level of wealth I will never see. One guys yacht was being backed in with a Bugatti on a platform that slowly spun.....
