what step would include removing it? When I got it back together I realized I could just drop it in the precut holes and bolt in the sides, unless I completely missed a step?
Im not versed in anything to do with body work so I don't have an answer for ya.. no directions or something came with it? Maybe YouTube video of it ?

Try Blaster penetrating spray. It works far better than WD-40!!!
I used it on dealership branding sticker on my rear bumper facia no harm on paint whatsoever!
I've been using this for years now since one time I was out of WD and Blaster was all I had. Was impressed with it that haven't used WD since.

So I’m changing my spoiler, and have the module off. I’ve got all the residue off of everything else, but the tape on the inside of the module seems absolutely impossible to get off. Is there and trick to this or just a lot of patience? I see this taking me hours.

Guys I’m actually so stupid. The YouTube video I watched was a different spoiler lmao, I got mine from ford performance and didn’t even have to take the module off it seems. Just did a whole lot of unnecessary work, and the spoiler alignment is slightly off by the smallest amount and I think my ocd is gonna make me take it off and put it back on in the future.

what a dumb day, just spent hours getting adhesive off for no reason 🙃 got it on tho!
Been there. Done that. 😂

RapidTac Adhesive Remover works much better than 3M Adhesive Remover and is no fumes. You can pair this with plastic razor blade scrapers on Amazon which won't scratch paint or most surfaces. This is my go-to for any adhesive cleanup.

Once all the adhesive is removed, you'll have all these little sticky adhesive pieces all over. Just spray the whole surface with Rapid Tac II, which is used to apply decals and wraps. It makes adhesives temporarily non-sticky, and you can wipe everything clean with a microfiber towel.

Be careful with the 3M wheel. I had never used one and what I thought was just gummed up adhesive was actually just burning through the paint and down to the body of the panel. LOL. At least the new spoiler covers it up!
