Finally got my black badges in today, so tomorrow they go on. I am wondering if anyone has a better method to replacing the Front Pony that doesnt involve taking the whole entire bumper off? Not really wanting to drop the bumper in case it doenst fit back on properly or dont want to break any clips/tabs. TIA!

you will have to remove the front bumper, the active grille shutter frame blocks access

Best way or video of how to do it? Don't wanna mess something up by winging it.

CJ Pony Parts has a video on how to replace the pony emblem, here's the video (skipped directly to the start of the instructions)

Taking the bumper off is pretty easy actually. Daunting task for sure and I get not wanting to break any tabs/clips by accident - but without removing the bumper to get access to the inside of the grille you won't be able to change out your pony badge.
At best, I would recommend a vinyl decal overlay on the badge to change the color without removing the bumper from the car.

There is a utube video on how to change the pony emblem without taking off the bumper, It looks very easy, I have lost the link to the video but will look for it today or you can. Definitely do not have to remove the bumper. Look like a 15 minute job.

Here is the video, it is for a 2023, I think it will work the same for a 2024.
