So, I really hate the design of the rear trunk lid and the spoiler module being a separate piece without a true positive connection along the seam line where it meets the trunk lid. I took this off to remove the blade spoiler, and have been messing around with different spoilers, and I've been having issues with it staying seated along the seam line.
Now, granted, it's triple digits here in TX and I had to park outside today for a little bit.....but it's peeled up again at the corners. I've removed before and cleaned all remnants of old tape with removal wheel and cleaned with alcohol and used adhesive promotor wipes.......still no luck.
Any other tips on install? I'm assuming I need to just wait now until the temps cool down and humidity comes down to give the 3M double sided trim tape a chance to actually cure properly.
Just really wish the design was different with better positive attachment in lieu of relying on tape.
