This suggests that while there was an initial excitement for the S650 in the beginning, sustaining that momentum has been difficult for Ford. With all of the R&D; preproduction and advertising costs added in the mix, I can't find any sources that state Ford has made a profit on the S650 in 2024 or are they spreading their costs over the next 10 years?

Sales are up 7.7% YTD on the Mustang - pretty good surely? Plus Non US sales have started now which didn't exist last year.

You have to look at the overall numbers. The Mustang is not making a profit for Ford. Compare 2024 sales numbers to 2015 sales numbers. Huge Difference.
