Mustang Dark Horse Intake

Hello people. This question is directed to dark horse owners. I noticed the dark horse has fully open inlets to the air intakes. I converted to a dark horse style bumper, only difference is OEM DH’s have a grille in that inlet for I guess bigger objects. Mine does not, wide open. Question is, do you guys think water would be an issue? I noticed in heavy rain, the inside of the air box gets a tiny bit wet. Any input on this? Thanks.

Just don’t go nostrils deep and you should be fine, a little water injection/mist doesnt hurt every once in awhile.
