My latest spending for sub,sub amp, new sub enclosure (that went where the OEM enclosure was), DSP amp and tuning was $4900. In 2018 I think my spend for deadening in doors, Morel door speakers and Morel tweeters was $1000. I replaced the parcel shelf speakers with Powerbass speakers off Amazon. The front centre speaker was disconnected and the interior sound deadening I did with Kilmat bought off Amazon for a few hundred $.

The only thing I would have done differently would be to have had a more powerfull amp. And perhaps have done the parcel shelf with Morel or Musway. Maybe Musway make suitable speakers for the doors and A pillars so that the whole system could be the same.

Well worth contacting Nick at Gold Coast Car Sound for a quote and ideas.

Replaced driver in B&0 subwoofer with DD Audio unit , much beefier driver than the factory unit , cannot reuse the factory grill so have ordered a 4 bar type from Amazon . Packed the enclosure with acoustic wool . Will refit tommorow and see how it goes . Went for this particular driver as its higher sensitivity than the popular Pioneer one . Want to avoid using a larger external sub box if i can help it . When i update cabin audio hardware will line Boot area with KIlmat while doing interior deadening

If you run a spare wheel check how tight it is before lining the well. With mine I had to take some Kilmat away from the perimeter as it ended up too tight.

Also, if you havn't bought your deadener it could be worth checking the products that your installer may sell. In my case I was told after the fact that I should have used their's but that may have been debatable. Kilmat is a good Soviet product and did the job well.

Yeah will hold of until i have decided on installer . Actually are now contemplating doing the entire floor of car and potentially the roof above headliner . Think would be worth the effort , not just for audio but general driving quietness . Get that full luxury vibe .

I didn't have the faith that I could do the ceiling neatly so left it alone. But I did take the rear seats out and the side panels out to do all that area and rear floor. Left the front seats in but took off the centre console and panels and door sills and folded up the front carpet to get where I could lay deadener. Also all the boot area and parcel shelf.

Some say that you don't have to cover everything but where I could I did.

Have fun!

Anyone know where the B&O amp is located? I also replaced my factory driver with a DD audio redline unit. But, I want to tap into the wiring at the amp for speaker output and a nice LOC to restore the bass fall off and power this woofer better.
