Modifications and Track Times

I’m creating a performance thread where we can list our performance modifications and measured performance either with draggy data or time slips. Requesting this to be pinned by moderators.

This should help us figure out what our mods are capable of and how we are doing compared to similar setups now that tuning is available.

Please list at least the DA when posting.

Here’s mine:
7.66 seconds 60-130 mph
DA 1845 70 degree night

2024 Mustang RTR spec 2 with PP
Roush TVS 2650
Roush intakes
Tuning - Roush phase 2 kit
Transmission - stock 10r80
3.55 ratio
Steeda X Pipe
Factory Active Exhaust
Tires - NITTO NT555 G2 295/35/20
No weight reduction

What octane? Any idea how much timing is being seen? Seems like it should be faster than that.

93 octane
Not sure on what’s going on. I thought 7.0 would be the target. Honestly this was the first run ever on the car with around 800 miles on the odometer. I haven’t run one since.

I also just recalled that I had the traction control turned on. I’ve noticed it cuts power pretty significantly up to about 100. At the time I was just learning the car’s characteristics and didn’t feel comfortable running with the TC turned off. I’ve run it a few times as of now with the TC off but my draggy was either dead or I was too busy enjoying the race to turn it on.

60-130 is always nice but 0-60 and quarter mile would be what most would compare to.

For sure but 60-130 is less about driver ability and more about the car’s capabilities.

true, but when you start playing with big HP cars it is assumed you have an idea what you are doing. If not, you either learn quick or drive it like Grandma

Dragy is the thing these days.

And you can estimate trap speed by 60-130

Ok so I took it out tonight and ran it again. Another 7.66 second 60-130 even with the traction control turned off.
BUT….
Then I remembered I was in track mode so I switched to drag mode. I rolled into with the traction control on from 45 and pulled off a 7.11 second 60-130 which was invalid due to slope and then a valid 7.06 run so now I feel like it’s where it should be.

Try it on adv trac off. It still cuts power on only traction control off

Thanks for the info. So much has changed on the car now. She’s running 5’s 60-130 now.
