Dang. The tremec was probably 50% of the reason I bought the DH. It was either that, used Mach 1, or GT350. I had a 2017 with the MT-82 and that trans was a dog.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I’ve got the MT-82, have had zero issues so far. I dont drag or race, just f around weekend driving. I did install the Steeda short throw shifter, maybe that helps?

Yeah, and a little before that (umm, ~mid ‘60s) American mags were really magnesium. At least ours were. If they offered anything other than the Torq-Thrust style we were all unaware of it.

American Mags were a big deal back in the 60s.
There were a lot of cars that had chrome reverse wheels with baby moon hubcaps.
The five spoke American Mags were really Cool.

I don't wanna be that one (and OT..), but how the price of this car (that I agree is beautiful) is justified VS a supercharged GT or DH? Is it because of "collection" value?

Beautiful car, awesome wheels. That’s insanely light, I think my forged aluminum 19’s are 21 and 23 lbs.

Do they modify a GT? Does it have the 10R80, Tremec, or the MT-82?

That’s really interesting. I had no idea! Their website doesn’t mention weight reduction apart from the wheels. Do you have an idea the approximate curb weight? How’s the weight balance?

they are forged so much better balance i would assume then a flow formed off the OE line wheel.

I called the company. HA. They were mentioning it is brand new Patented forging technology and they are just launching direct to consumer. I can see them blowing up in five years.

Got the 2025 Shelby Super Snake. It is absolutely beautiful. The bronze wheels in magnsium is what really caught my eyes! I worked with Shelby and found the Mag wheel supplier. Looks like they are out of Detroit MI. Just got a set through them for my Porsche 911. The 21" wheel only weighs 19.5LBS !!!!

Because it's a Shelby. Same thing occurs with Roush, Saleen, RTR, etc. Will they be worth more over time.....no, probably not, but it's the nostalgia factor that matters to those who buy them. At the time, my 2008 Roush 427R was worth what I paid for it and I never regretted the purchase.
