Looking at a left over '24' GT Premium with two tone interior--can the color be changed without spending mega bucks?

Found a left over '24' GT premium with minimal miles and a good price, but the interior has the parchment (light grey) inserts on the seats, which is why it's still on the lot.
Any ideas on changing out the covers to match the rest of the interior and what the cost might be?
thanks in advance.

Give those seats a chance. You might like them.

Are you planing on doing the seats yourself, or having them done at a shop? That will determine price range.

If you're going to DIY; buying the replacement panels off the net as suggested by @Magic88 will definitely help hold costs down. If you're going to go with a shop ; your best bet is to talk the proposed project over with them to get an idea of cost.

Oooorrrr...........................you could just give me $10K and I'll do the seats for you!

Purchase the putt, send to Shelby, and they'll put some nice covers over the putts seats, including a bunch of other additions. Or get to like the seats. If putt is black, white, or silver just put a Raiders sticker on it. No one will know the diff. Be glad it's not that other horrible color, cinnamon/orange.

@MMM981 ..... no question color schemes are personal. I like @DT-GT advice - maybe give them a second look? I bought a 24GT Premium Convertible with vapor blue metallic paint and space gray seat "insert panels" same with the door inserts. It had sat on the lot for 6 months as all the young guys in the area like the triple black look. The boss (aka the wife) loved the seats. I loved the GT and its options. Got a 'uge discount. People tell me they like the up-graded rims and Bose and vapor blue paint but they REALLY like the space gray seat inserts. Go figure, right? Who'd have thought? I didn't! They are certainly cooler to sit on when the car is hot. Anyway, I really like them now (they are different than all the usual black seats you see) and would order them if I was to order a new one. Just sayin'

I know you want to save some money & have it your way.
You may want to look around & maybe find another Mustang closer to your expectations?

Thanks for all the replies.
The car in question is a race red with the space grey interior. I can see the SG on a Grey carbonized or vapor blue, but not on the red--way too much of a difference in color for me..
I also found a CG with the Embirlin(?) yam colored interior--yikes. Both have been on the lot for a year or so, making me thing you really have to love the setup because the resale could take a big hit.

If it bothers you this much I would just move on and keep looking. I might even consider using the seat modification money on traveling to a car so you can expand your search area a bit

@MAT1955 --Dang it, Matt! Had to bring up lighter seat inserts/cooler in the summer! 😆 Mine's all black leather and boy do those rascals get hot in the summer (hate to think what it'd be like down south or the SW where they get REAL summer heat) when they get direct sun shine.

Now YOU got me pining for the Recaro Alcantara inserts in my last 2 cars (Focus ST & Focus RS). Even worse; you got me thinking I should check with some upholstery shops to see how much it’s run to have the leather seats and backs yanked and some perforated med gray Alcantara installed. 👍

Voice of Reason: Leave it alone, Wiley. Suck it up! 😉
