Can you extrapolate the difference on the 7th gear pull… you can see it was putting down a good chunk more hp/tq..

was it 10…20 perhaps?

420 wheel and not in 1:1. That is gonna be stout once you can get past the limiter.

So factory fuel cut is 7400?

Also, the speed limiter at 140 and change is pretty damn low for a car like this. It'd be a shame if the PP equipped cars are the same. That would be lower than the previous gen, IIRC.

EDIT: Thanks for the video and graph! Can't wait to see what changes happen with various modifications.

The dark horse is supposed to cut out at 168 miles per hour. I think it's because the aerodynamics are different for the dark horse and it stays glued to the road better. They may have also set it that way figuring anybody going that fast was gong to have the gurney flap installed.

Well, I hope it isn't 168 either. The S550 (as tested on the Autobahn) hit 260kph with the PP or Bullitt and 278kph with the M1. If the S650 is slower in either (or both) metrics...that is some real big-brother BS or cost-cutting...both of which can take a hike!

That's 270 kph minus tire slip. I am sure once the computer is hacked it will do much better.

The reasoning for 168 was probably because anything after that didn't offer must of a difference. If they improved the suspension, retuned it. I'm guessing they are saying that the car @ 168 and do what the previous models @ 172 could do just more efficiently. Especially if they recalibrate everything and improved on stuff DH wise. That's just a thought though as to what could have lead to that.

There is one other reason for setting speed limit and that is tires. Once you start getting around 150 miles per hour it takes a better tire just to stay together at that speed. It used to be worst when we had the double nickel and there were plenty of tires that would come apart ant 100 miles per hour or less. That was when I started looking at Goodyear Eagle because they were a better tire than most of what was on the market.
I had tires that never exceeded the double nickel with all sorts of strange failure. You get what you pay for and I am willing to pay if I can avoid tire failure.
