Your original statement that it is half the price and slower is clearly incorrect, as you ignore inflation. £70k today is not double £35k from 2016 in inflation corrected terms. But then you prove your own statement incorrect yourself, so not really sure what your point is?For the second time, the video refers to a Dark Horse. The Dark Horse with a manual transmission is about £70k. An early S550 was faster to 60 and circa £35k. So £70k is about twice the price. So my original statement that an early S550 was half the price and faster on the 0-60 metric is correct. £35k is about £47k in today’s money, a base (slower) Mustang GT is about £8k more.
As i said i don’t want to get into a debate about transmission but a 50/50 split says a lot about the markets view on the 10 speed. I think for Porsche about 85% go automatic.
Of course it’s my opinion on the regulations. Just like it’s your opinion that you don’t see any issue with the regulations, even when a new £70k Mustang is slower to 60 than a previous generation £35k Mustang.
The difference is very small 0-60, certainly tyres, temperature etc will all make a difference as will the rear axle ratio. A few 10ths here or there will not be noticeable on the road. You don't want to get into a debate about transmission but then express an opinion again - make your mind up

But then you know all this as you post the same old stuff about how awful / slow / expensive the S650 is for months now - simple, don't worry about it and don't buy one. We get it - you don't want an S650, move on!
