Caught a snapshot of the dash while at a Red light. Temp was 102 when I got in the car but it had been sitting for 12 hours in the sun.

First pic granny driving, Normal Mode, outside temps 60, no hard pulls, never broke 50 mph

oil temp.webp

Evening spirited drive, Sport Mode, hard pulls, highway 80mph, back roads paddling through the gears and almost identical to the above granny mode,

2nd.webp

Maybe some of you that have more recent Gen stangs can chime in. Last Mustang I had was an 88GT 35 years ago... I guess this Coyote just runs hot? These temps are within normal range though, anything I should monitor closely??

OK - I'll ask. How did you guys get that detailed display screen?
Your Menu buttons on the right hand side of your Steering Wheel. Just scroll through to find the 2 Options that show engine stats. One thing I did see that was different was that on @JAM486HP display, he shows Air Inlet Temp and not Axle Oil Temp. Could this be because you were in Normal Mode and do you have the PP?? I have the Air Inlet Temp on the next page/screen.

I guess Axle Oil Temp is on PP

Ok, I was just wondering because I was thinking you could set up your Detail any way that you preferred somewhere on some “Sub Menu”.

Does the PP include the diff cooler? My DH has one, so I have axle oil temp in the detail.

My GT PP is low to mid 190’s for CHT and EOT in everyday driving, even with “spirited” driving. Highest I’ve seen it get is low 210’s when on the drag strip with the ambient temperature around 94 degrees.

From what I’ve read with the Previous S550, the PP1 did not include a Diff Cooler but I’ve also heard that it does. Not sure if it was an upgraded feature on the S650’s. I’ll have to do some more researching unless someone else on the Forum has an answer.

Radiator fans should be on for a water temperature over 200F (someone should have the exact cut in temp)
Oil temps under 230F are fine the engine will be validated to at least that hot for continuous use and 250F for hot climates.

Some S650's have active shutters on the grill right ?
I had thought so about the Active shutters as well but I don’t see them on my car and it’s a good clear view in to the Condenser area. My 17’ Ecoboost had them however.

Thanks all for chiming in. So my temps seem in line with other non PP Gt's... Apparently PP has a larger radiator and an oil cooler. Thankfully I have no intent to track the car, it's just gonna run hot and I have 3yr/36K to see if it's a problem

Maybe your Pro Flows help? Mine are on the way

Just strange, last week was over 100 out and I was getting similar readings even with some pulls. I wonder how accurate these numbers are
Please clarify what “Pro Flows” is? Air filter or oil cooler or something else? Thanks.
