I noticed under the auxiliary gauges that the oil temp has Blue, Orange, and Red thresholds that correspond to temperatures. But there are no actual value increments that say what those temps are.

I know you can see the actual temp number in the digital gauge cluster. And obviously anything in the blue area on the Auxiliary gauge is normal range. But im wondering how hot the oil has to be to get into the Orange and Red thresholds. Can anyone share what their temps were in those ranges?

For what its worth, my oil temp was 216⁰ when I took this picture.

I haven't reached those areas yet! In my EcoBoost, straight up is 212⁰F. I'm working on being driven around so I can cross reference the numbers but meanwhile using ChatGPT / Wikipedia logic (everything you see and read is as simple as it seems haha) it looks like there might be four notches from the vertical at 212 to your 216, so with that in mind, when I get the chance I'll enlarge the image and try counting down as well as up, and see it on the road...

Seems legit, right?!

I can confirm these hashmarks I drew indicate 140⁰ on the left and 200⁰ on the top. Assuming the gauge is linear, that means Orange should be 260⁰ and Red is probably 275⁰ or so.
