so, update on this. im 99% sure that the new sequential stuff is a hardware difference. Job 2 Mustangs have a new BCMB part number, and the programming between Job 1 and Job 2 BCMBs are exactly the same

for anyone still following this thread in hopes of being able to get these sequential tail lights: the cause has likely been found. job 2 seems to have a different connector with different wires. this is not a software thing, BCMB thing, or anything easy. this is a hardware thing and to get it to work you would likely need a custom wiring harness to convert to the new connector and the new tail lights

Is this meaning when adding the inline adapter or now as is job 1’s?

Huh? Re: valid turn signal.
I'm guessing I'm ignorant. Can anyone tell me what's a job 1 car is compared to a job 2. I don't understand the job thing.

Job 1 is the first time Ford started to assemble the S650 Mustangs in the factory.
Job 2 is when Ford decides to change some things on the car that were bad on Job 1 or just because Fird thinks it's better to add or change some parts.

For example, Job 1 cars did not come with auto start stop. Why? No idea. Maybe the parts didn't arrive on time and they did not want to wait producing the new Mustang just because of that mission option. Job 2 came with start stop.

Job 2 started in January 2024.

Thank you very much for explaining that. I picked up my DH on Jan 12th 2024 so It is a job 1 car. Mine is standard so I don't think they get start stop option. okay thanks again.
