Anyone have recommendations on Ceramic Coating / PPF? I already have a chip in my hood. :-( I was going to do just Ceramic Coating, but now thinking of doing PPF on the front.

Congrats. Make sure you do a full once over before taking delivery. I wasn't worried about getting panel gaps fixed after the fact, but it turned out that one of the panel gaps was due to an issue with the tail light assembly being installed incorrectly.

My suggestion for get-togethers is to check out a local Mustang Club. In South Jersey, I belong to the "South Jersey Mustang Club". We have been growing due to some great cruises and car shows we sponsor. We are affiliated with the "Mustang Club of America".

To find a Mustang club near you, go to the MCA website: https://mustang.org/locate/

Near Caldwell is the

Garden State Region Mustang Club11.6 miles
P.O. Box 289 Wood Ridge, NJ 07075

Lots of good tips about modding your car.

Thanks

Congrats. I just got my baby back after being in the shop for 2 months. I went for a long drive, I love driving her. Can't wait for the warmer weather to put the top down again.

Hey all. Just got my Silver 2024 Ecoboost Premium w/Perf Package, Magnaride and Active Exhaust yesterday (May 10). LOVE it so far (except for picking up a screw in one of the Pirelli's within the first 100 miles requiring me to take it back to the dealer to get the tire replaced today, but what can you do?)

Shout out to Tom's Ford in Keyport. They have been FANTASTIC to work with. If they were closer I'd be coming here for everything. Alas, I''m down in Cherry Hill, NJ so I'll lilkely be going to Holman Ford for servicing.

Anyone know of a good shop near me to get some aftermarket stuff installed? I'm mostly interested in the Steeda Stop the Hop Kit: https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-S550-Mustang-Stop-The-Hop-Starter-Kit-555-4455 and maybe an oil separator. I just don't have any way to work on cars at my condo (nor the aptitude: houses + computers - I'm good, cars I'm useless!)

Starting up a New Jersey thread so I guess I'll kick off intros. I'm from/still in the Caldwell area and have owned a 14' V6 since college. She's since been sold to a new college student in town and now with real money coming in I'm excited to buy my first V8. Gen 5s really are hard to beat aesthetically in my mind but the S650s hit a good balance with a lot of power.

Curious to see how many of us live near each other, maybe we organize some meets as well!
Paulie, I have one questionā€¦since NJ is now the only state to not allow self serve at the gas pumpā€¦do you stand outside and watch those gas pump jockeys while they fill up your babyā€¦ I know Iā€™d be worried about them damaging/scratching the fuel door and surrounding area? And if I recall (on my trips home to CT years ago) they would sometime just ram the nozzle into the fuel tank and then click it on auto fuel(hopefully the stop fuel ā€œkickā€ wonā€™t jar the fuel nozzle out of your car and have it drag down the side of your baby).
Canā€™t believe that New Jerseyites canā€™t convince the state to allow self service.šŸ˜†

I mean I go to the same guys all the time in town, never had an issue of them acting brutish with it. Personally I don't mind it as much as out of staters do, never really understood the obsession with pumping your own gas

Dang we're on opposite ends of the state haha, I go to a guy in my town for parts I can't do myself but I'll ask my buddy further south who he goes to

Most people don't like government overreach and overregulation. And somewhere along the way, you're paying more for gas than you'd have to, just so some politicians and executives can pad thier wallets.

Yea I hate government regulation as much as the next person, be it on my guns, the excessive taxes on everything, or in my state, the insane restrictions on housing development (and the ridiculous prices that come with it). I think not having the option to pump my own gas is silly, but itā€™s certainly the least of all the evils the government commits.

I don't need the government telling me to do anything, least or otherwise.
