Is lane centering an independent function or part of adaptive cruise? The owners manual mentions lane centering in the adaptive cruise section (pg 219) and mentions ‘you have adaptive cruise with stop and go enabled and set’ before lane centering activates. Since manuals (6-speed) don’t get the ‘stop and go’ version does lane centering activate without adaptive cruise being used?
I received the ‘put your hands on the wheel’ message while driving (only had one hand over the top of the steering wheel) and noticed some ‘lane’ centering assistance while cornering but wasn’t knowingly using (under control of) cruise control.
if it is an independent function does it adjust according to the drive mode. Not that I really want lane centering to be active while in track mode just checking for the the known params.
