That’s really cool. Having a front camera, or even front sensors, would be extremely helpful. I always find it difficult to park the car when pulling in forward.

I know @5.0ALM showed us how to DIY a front camera, but I also came across this option in Australia.

Havent tried it or done much research, but just thought I'd share in case someone is interested .

Front Camera Integration for Ford Mustang (2024) with 13.3-Inch Widescreen Audio - PPA Car Audio
PPA is a reseller of the Naviplus system that I mention in my video.
Major red flags with this product.

Product listing refers to Mustang's 13.3" screen.
It's actually 13.2", something I made them aware of almost 9 months ago.
The fact they haven't spent 60 seconds to look at the car's brochure about screen size and correct the product listing tells me they aren't that interested. So what's their service and support going to be like?

They actually know nothing about the product, or how it integrates in, or what to expect.
I did ask them for some sample images.

$120 optional camera is a rip off.
The system is of no use without the camera.
It's the same AHD camera that came with my $50 complete kit.

I would not touch this with a 20' barge pole.

Also, I got a response from Naviks in the US a few weeks ago (the yank alternative I mention in my video) saying their system is now available.

Adding to the topic. I spoke with TJ at Steeda. He said they don't have a solution for the 2026 at this time. 🫤. Maybe someday. A front camera and *bonus* sensors would really round these cars out.

I'm surprised Ford doesn't even have an aftermarket option for this problem.

I'm looking at replacing my daily driver RAV4 with an Everest.
Like a lot of current Fords, Everest has front and 360° cameras (standard with Platinum trim, optional with all below that) and runs Sync 4A.

S650 Mustang runs Sync 4.

I hear you ask, what is the difference between 4 and 4A?

What is the difference between SYNC 4 and SYNC 4A?
There is very little difference between SYNC 4 and SYNC 4A.

Both offer advanced features that can help keep you connected and your system continuously evolving.

What’s more, they each combine available conversational voice recognition, cloud-based connectivity, Ford software update capabilities and so much more to bring you a seamless and personalized driving experience while delivering easy smartphone integration.

So yes, no excuses for not being able to offer a front camera option at least.
Not acknowledging the Mustang's low drivers position can make it difficult to see immediately out front is another fail.

Interesting note at the end of the page you linked: "Note: SYNC 4 cannot be upgraded to SYNC 4A."
I agree with you, no excuse for not having a plug-in option for a front camera.
When I bought the car I was not expecting nor wanted a 360deg camera, but at least some front sensor...

If I may, I would recommend a 2023 Prado instead of an Everest 🙂

• I have no affiliation with this company, just posting as an FYI...

If anyone contacts them, let us know how much this is.
(I'm quite happy with my DIY system, which appears to have a slightly wider angle of view)
