Why are cops allowed to have cars like this? How are they supposed to arrest someone and safely secure them in the back seat? Are they handcuffed to a special apparatus in the backseat somehow? They would like have to get in the backseat with them to even secure them to something. This makes no sense to me.

Plenty of room in the trunk. Just hog tie his podex and throw him in the trunk.

I84 in southern Idaho has a speed limit of 80 mph, and if you are not doing 85+, traffic is blowing by you like you are standing still.

Not all police cars are made for transportation.
Every police car has it's own purpose.

They will call in another vehicle to transport.
