Why do you want to disable Bluetooth in the car?
I don't want to disable BT. I want to remove the annoying message that shows when it is turned off on my phone (see original post).

Unless you are still using one of these BT makes very little difference to battery life. I can think of no reason to not connect your phone and solve your problem in one go.
It sure seems to. I'll have to do a scientific analysis. Pixel 10.

I only spend about 2 hours a week, max, in the car. The other 166 hours, I don't need BT.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) the latest version uses no power when not connected even if left on on the phone

Does Bluetooth drain battery? We ran some smartphone tests to find out

Most users won’t see any noticeable amount of extra smartphone battery drain if they forget to turn Bluetooth off.
Bluetooth drains very little of your smartphone’s battery. You really don’t need to worry.

To save the battery.

That's misleading.... it doesn't use "no power". As you yourself summarized, it uses very little. However...

I don't use the phone much. I can get 4 days from a full charge, if BT is off. I did a brief test, and in 4 hours the phone uses less than 1% of battery with BT off, but 3% with BT on. In both cases, nothing else was going on, no use. Extrapolate that to several days, and BT makes a huge difference.

Hey look - you have been given an answer to your problem which 99% of people do. If you want to argue the toss over 1% v 3% and make out it is some big deal then you are just wasting everybody's time. 🤷‍♂️
