I decided when I bought my GT that tires and gasoline would never be a pain point. I just fork over the money as needed. It wasn't hard to decide since this is my fourth Mustang V8.

Me too. Except, I had to get our fuel spend for this year and the Ford has cost 3 times more than the wife's Skoda for the same mileage.
But then I think of the Doom Goblins I've pissed off and feel better.

Life without fun isn't life. Mustangs are fun but so are a lot of other things. Money won't follow anyone to the grave.

Agreed….as much as they swallow fuel like hell, the pleasure it brings me far outweighs The fuel costs.at 5e, I know what I want out of life and that includes muscle cars for life now that I’m back in one…..I tried going practical with German but that rumble from the 5.0……

I came home from an event, my First Pennsylvania Mustang Club held yesterday, and told the wife they are having a road tour next Saturday. She said, ”Aren’t all you guys going to burn a lot of gas?” I replied, ”And what's your point?" Don't care! I hope I have to fill up before I get home! Glenn

Mine really doesn't use that much fuel considering what it is. The lifetime average is 20.7 and that isn't pussy-footing around. Kind of amazing.

I'm more worried about speeding awards than fuel mileage.

I told my wife I bet she'll have her first speeding ticket in 1-2 weeks. :) She's driven minivans for over 20 years and won't be used to this amount of power.
