Does having an H Pipe installed void the warranty? I'm planning of the Ford dealership where I bought it to do the installation.

In general, no. the only way any part voids warranty would be if they can prove that the part itself caused the problem/damage you would bring it in for. and even then, it doesn't "void" the warranty, it just means that wherever you bring it to in the future that came to the conclusion that the h pipe caused damage will not fix it, doesn't mean any other dealership will come to the same conclusion. i.e. dealership A says h pipe voids warranty and won't fix doesn't mean dealership B will come to same conclusion

That's what i figured, but I don't want to get into a grey area with this. Car has active exhaust already. Ford just bought my 2022 back on a lemon law claim . I didn't modify my 2020 GT Premium, or my 2022 GT Premium, so may not even do the h pipe.

The H pipe changes the note significantly. Not crazy loud like headers but a nice deep growl. On a Dark Horse, with stock headers and mufflers it sounds pretty awesome. Borderline loud but not over the line!

I'm definitely interested in the sound and weight loss, but concerned about warranty. I can tone it down with quiet mode.

I had my DH at the Ford dealership today for the alignment after having the car lowered. The Sr. Tech was in love with the sound it makes with the H pipe. I actually asked him this and he said no, unless Ford can prove the H pipe caused the failure they won't even bat an eyelash.

I really didn't think it would. I'll put that on the schedule. Getting ceramic tint this week. Full interior, including windshield. What H PIPE do you recommend?

Well MY experience is with the Steeda H pipe. I have a lot of Steeda stuff on my current Mustang and had many of their parts on my previous one (including rims). They make some good stuff.

It depends if you want to enhance the existing note or go wild. If you want to ehance? Go Steeda H pipe. If you want to go wild wild then look at the Double H Pipe that Lethal sells.

Definitely only want to enhance with option to use quiet mode, and not super loud. There are enough obnoxiously loud Mustangs out there ( other brand as well). I like my neighbors and use quiet mode in the morning. Loud doesn't equal fast.

@Mikestang24 ..... you can easily pick up the phone and contact Ford Corporate customer service. Tell the agent what you want to do if it is not a "usual" install - if they agree they will give you a case number. They did this for me when I asked if I could install a kill switch without voiding my powertrain warranty. They called me back in about 15 minutes and gave me a case number.

On my 22 GT I had my local dealership supply and install the ford performance X -pipe. I feel if you are worried about warranty that is the safest bet by far. Not sure if Ford offers a X-pipe or H-pipe for the 2024 model year though.

Does adding an H-pipe to an Ecoboost with Active exhaust make any difference? I’m thinking probably not but just curious.

dunno. YouTube to see if anyone has done it. It would make some difference as you are removing stock resonator however you won’t get that v8 sound

If the manufacturer would claim that the H pipe caused the cat to plug up it could deny the warranty claim, but remember that the burden of proof is always on the manufacturer. Also keep in mind that the H pipe is after the o2 sensors and cats so its not technically any thing to do with any emissions Eqt.
