The most in-depth GTD walk around I've seen yet, the level of engineering detail on this car goes beyond what I could ever imagine.
Man I think that's the best looking GTD I've seen so far too!

A showdown between these and a gt around those tracks would be amazing.
I'd like to see it, but I'd be surprised if the GTD is close in performance to a Ford GT. The 1,000 lb weight difference will probably more than offset the increased power.

The GTD might be more fun to drive, though. 50/50 weight balance won't have excessive traction like a mid-engine car does, but the tires will probably let go in a very smooth and controlled manner.

I'm still hoping somehow Ford sees their way through to making a version of the GTD for regular people. Include a similar but cheaper SLA suspension, 5.0 V8 and a manual transaxle. I'm sure it would still be expensive, but it would be a blast on track. Maybe if the car made ~500 HP and had fewer features it would even be a little lighter. Next gen Mustang? Pretty please, Ford?
