Cliff Notes -

He likes them both- both are great cars....

The 350R is more raw, analog, feels more special, better steering exc.

The Dark Horse is more refined and would make a better daily driver that can also be driven hard in the canyons/track

Having driven both I think this video is pretty much spot on - the R feels exotic likes its constantly on edge 1000% of the time - you cant be relaxed and drive it
The Dark Horse would be a FAR better daily driver - MUCH more refined - I actually think it drives more similar to the S550 GT500

Its crazy that both of these have the same "bones" but drive so completely different .....

Oh, I wasn’t expecting it to be the old GT350R, everyone I know that had one back then was thrilled to sell it and move on to something different.

I always said the 10R80 would’ve made those really fast, they did turn super hard though, my friend still has his R seats and CF wheels if anyone needs replacement parts

I did not have an R, I had a 17 GT350 with the handling pack. I remember when I purchased my GT350, you did not have to choose between Tech and the other package.

My GT350 was a fun car; I had headers (Kooks), an X-pipe, and Flex tune. My Darkhorse reminds me of the fun I had in that car, and as I have told others, the DH to me is a more refined version of the GT350. With my upgrades added, it is truly a blast to drive.
