Got the GT Prem - Sound system not working?

After more than half a year of waiting, I cancelled my order and found a ready GT premium with the 401a (12 speakers).

Amazing car and I love it so far.

After getting home and pairing bluetooth I then realized there is no sound coming from the speakers at all no even the entrance chime.
The knob and steering volume buttons work it just stays at 0.

I tried:

• Holding the buttons to reset
• Sync factory reset
• Disconnecting battery for 30 mins
• Checking for updates

Also read another similar post, too bad the OP didn't post an update on the outcome.



Anyone seen this?

Mine does that periodically. Typically resetting the infotainment or reconnecting my phone fixes it.

press and hold the skip track and volume down buttons (the two at the bottom right of the steering wheel) for a few seconds and it will restart the center display

infotainment definitely is wack. Still can’t believe they don’t have an update but I guess I can’t be too surprised this is ford not Tesla.
holding down the right arrow and volume down usually solves everything for me

Does suck :(
Dealer was not local, looks like it needs an update or something, don't think it can be fixed by the user.
