Got into a hit and run, insurance estimates at $4700 damages, body shop is $7600. I want to get it fixed. How does the repair process work?

Not counting broken parts, the nearly the whole front end needs to be painted and blended. Hood, bumper, driver's fender ... and blending in the passenger fender. That's a reasonable price, IMO.

Yeah, I know it's not crazy. Just amazing how much more $$ is tied up in these things nowadays.

Dam Im sorry this happened to you. No I don't think it will affect your premiums. I had someone hit me pretty hard in rear end of my 370z and it sucked every annoying. Hope everything worked out for you.

Ive learned whether your accident is at fault or not, the insurance premiums are going to go up still. Its a scam. Its always goes up no matter what.
