This will be my third Mustang. I had a 2007 GT Premium and a 2015 GT Premium.
Got the itch again and found one I really like.

what kind of battle? new car price negotiations? If it's a 24 then expect at least 10 up to 15% off. If not they are ripping you off. The 25's will be here soon. Most of the Mid Atlantic dealers are 6-7K off of GT's.

Every DC area (MD and Northern VA) dealer I looked at today are 5.5-7K off of loaded GT's. I've seen dozens in stock at those prices.

I recently was unsuccessful in negotiating with a local dealer. I have spent lots of money there over the years and was offered invoice minus 1k. I found that insulting. 15% off is where you want to be on an s650.

I would also suggest shopping around for a similar spec even if it’s different color. Negotiate and see what they can offer. Only reason I say that is because I was planning on trading in my 24 GT for a PP version and there was a dealer selling a new one almost 7-9K off MSRP for a premium. I took that info and had proof to other dealers with a color and specs that I wanted and shopped around. I was surprised that some dealers were willing to match or beat my trade in and also the discount. In the end I decided keeping my 24 because I ordered it simple for a reason since I knew I’d be changing everything on it, and I didn’t want to start over on payments especially after putting a big down payment in the first place. Either way good luck and hope you get the stang! You won’t regret it
