FYI, if you’re trying to program an extra key fob and it’s not working as described in the manual or online searches… Try putting the fobs at the forward part of your center console cubby, NOT on top of the designed key receptacle… I racked my brains several times with 2 different extra OEM fobs and it never worked putting them in the designed receptacle! So for sh*ts and giggles I tried this spot… And voila… Now I have 2 extra functioning key fobs.
