Front Flaps by wheels.

I just noticed that my GT premium as these front flaps under the car near the front wheels. Any ideas? Is this normal?

I think you mean these in the pic below, they are to channel air.

So it's been pouring rain here for the better part of the week but I did sneak outside and snapped an , albeit, awful pic. So this is the front of the car, passenger side. There is the same flap on the driver's side. It basically looks like a mud flap only in front of the wheel instead of behind.

Normal, all of them have it. Mud flap.

They are spats/ wheel spats and are simply for aero.
