FordPass: Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery

How long was the car sitting between starts? It will automatically go into sleep mode and do this if it sits for 2 weeks without activity regardless of battery charge.

I drive it at a minimum of 2 times a day usually.

Im sorry, could you explain this further. Ive read this 3 times and Im at a loss of what you are trying to explain.

No problem the car will not charge the battery past 75% charge with the BMS connected. If it sits for a while it will disable ford pass features and other accessory features. There is a small round connector that comes off the negative terminal of the battery which will disable the BMS. I have to unplug if when updating tunes because it shuts the power down in the middle of flashing the tune and you cant stop it once it does. If you want to charge the battery up to 100% you pop the bms connector off. It will show a battery warning light but operate without an issue.

The normal default is 80%

If you want to charge the battery above this use an external charger, however it will soon drop back to 80%.

Routinely charging to 100% will shorten the life of the battery without the BMS

One week later and issue hasn't come back and battery levels are just fine since the incident.
