There were a couple call outs here stating that using ceratech during an oil change almost nullifies the tick.

Ryunker... Did you prefill the filter? I have always done this for a longtime. Plenty of controversy on doing this. It might not make any difference but my 2011 has no tick.
what's the controversy? I thought every agreed refilling the filter lets the oil pressure come up a couple seconds faster on the first startup?

I was 1qt low when I checked after driving home from the dealer. Car had less than 25 miles. I added 1/2 qt 5-30w Ford blended to bring it up to the mddle of the safe zone on the dipstick. Checked it again at 500 miles and it hasn't changed. I don't see what S/S has to do with oil amounts.
Glad I spotted your comment. My new car was at the bottom of the low point as well - cold. I guess I better go buy a qt.
