I noticed that as well and wondered the same as you...Pay for the AE and get basic nothing special tips or get better looking chromed and rolled looking stock tips??

I have a love hate relationship with tips, just not a fan of rolled,
May be dumb but looks cheap to me.
I know it doesnt make sense as its more complete than just a regular straight or angled cut tip.

That is a lot of money for a little metal and some of the pictures I have seen they don’t really look good.

Thats an installation issue, not a tip issue....
But $100 a tip is insane.....
The 2 tips arent even flush with one another, the left on moved or was intentionally inset....
