I've not been able to find any answers in the forums regarding what notifications and warnings display if you remove the driver's seat in an S650. I will be installing a racing seat for use on the track, and I'm wondering what types of warnings and notifications the car will give? My main concern is whether it is going to continuously pop up notifications while I'm on the track, or if it is a one time notification that can be cleared and won't pop up again for the rest of the session? Also, is there any way in Forscan to disable any warnings regarding the seat/airbag being disconnected?

You will definitely get an Air bag warning.

lol some black electrical tape covering those pesky warning lights might be a solution.
LOL. It's not the lights that concern me, it's the pop up messages that cover up the main dashboard display items.

seat belt warnings, although you could try turning the "beltminder" off per the owners manual to stop that, but it is going to code for the drivers air bag for sure.

You might want to research emulators for the airbags, I had an Explorer with seat air bags, when I swapped the interior the new seats didn't have bags so I went back to the donor vehicle and got the emulators off the seat harness.

Update: I got around to installing the racing seats this weekend. The only warning I get is at startup with a message saying seat belt detection malfunction, and the airbag light is illuminated. Once I press ok, the only indication of an issue is the airbag light. I did discover cruise control doesn’t work, either. That doesn’t matter to me since I’m driving the car on the track, but for someone who is swapping out seats for on road use, it could be an issue.

I'm almost 100% sure your CC malfunction has nothing to do with the seatbelt thing. You probably changed a wrong line.

Changing 1 number in Forscan, can change different features. That's why it's important to choose the right one that only changes the feature you want to change.
I don’t think the cruise control not working is related to Forscan. The last time I made a change in Forscan was when I installed my track tires last weekend. I drove 120 miles after that and used cruise control. The only thing I did this weekend was replace the seats.

To clarify, the message I received when attempting to activate cruise control was “Adaptive Cruise Control Not Available.” However cruise control did not work at all. I know there is a way to switch between regular and adaptive cruise control; however, I did not try that. It is possible regular cruise control would work if I switched it from adaptive cc.
